Steve Conquergood has enjoyed a diverse engineering and management career for 40 years. He has been successful as an entrepreneur and inventor, holding North American patents across a range of subjects.
Early in his career, he worked in manufacturing organizations, and received extensive training in all aspects of project management. He has been responsible for teams in engineering and structural design, product development, quality assurance, process management, field applications and monitoring.
In 1990, Steve founded Advanced Measurements, a system integration company specializing in application of National Instruments’ tools and platforms, across an extremely broad range of industries and geographies. As the company grew, it focused on more specific vertical markets and technologies. Steve led all aspects of the company’s growth, including bringing on board a strong leadership team that significantly increased the value of the company, and ultimately led to one of their customers purchasing the company in 2007.
Steve remains active in the industry, consulting on both technology and management topics. Driven by his enthusiasm and foresight, he implements effective solutions, for both people and technology.
Steve graduated with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toronto, and is a registered Professional Engineer. He lives with his wife in Western Canada and has traveled frequently for business and pleasure.
